At Second Renaissance I design and build applied AI systems focused on automation, security, and improving internal workflows. My work centers on Large Language Models such as GPT and Claude, and I develop Retrieval Augmented Generation pipelines that integrate these models with structured and unstructured information sources for more grounded outputs. I also create multi-step reasoning agents and agentic workflows for tasks that require deeper logic or sequential decision making. I have built containerized applications using Docker and Fly.io, including a website security scanner that performs LLM-driven analysis and a threat report generator that synthesizes public vulnerability data and security news. I have also worked on an agent-powered document transformation tool that streamlines parts of the RFP preparation process. Beyond engineering, I develop demos and internal tools used in training, and I teach workshops on prompt engineering, AI fundamentals, and applied AI for business. These sessions have been delivered to international audiences and focus on practical techniques for using LLMs effectively and safely. My role spans applied machine learning, system architecture, cloud deployment, and hands-on experimentation with emerging AI capabilities.

Founding engineer at WOM, where I joined after nearly two years of conceptual work that hadn’t materialized into a usable product. I led a full architectural shift—migrating from a rigid, misaligned relational backend to a scalable Firestore-based structure built on Firebase and Google Cloud. I designed the database schema to align with non-relational best practices, introduced consistent backend patterns, and standardized our development workflows. I contribute across the entire stack, including infrastructure, authentication, front-end architecture, and internal tooling. I've also played a central role in planning and building core product features, dashboards, and user-facing logic. My work focuses on system design, cross-functional implementation, and making the platform maintainable, scalable, and actually buildable. Still actively contributing as we expand and iterate on the product.

Led verification sessions with state government personnel to validate data accuracy and ensure proper use of FAST software during system modernization. Collaborated with state analysts and developers to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality. Developed, tested, and executed PostgreSQL transformation scripts to migrate legacy South Dakota vehicle and dealer records (RV66 and RV75) into the updated SDCars platform. Contributed to a smooth transition by maintaining legal, functional, and operational integrity throughout the conversion process.
